Dr. Bernice, Dr. B or just plain Doc

The Director of Angelic Wellness

Dr. Bernice is a "Jersey Girl", meaning that she tells it like she sees it. Dr. Bernice is a bit of a free spirit and known by many as the barefoot chiropractor. She is the devoted wife and soul mate to Greg Herron. She is currently the mommy to Sugar and Honey, an eskie and a labradoodle. The family spends as much time away in the motor home as work permits. Dr. Bernice's goal in life is to make God proud and to become what is known in Yiddish as a mench (meaning someone of consequence; someone to admire and emulate; someone of noble character). She feels her patients can not achieve health from an unhealthy physician and therefore works hard at doing what she tells others to do such as cooking organic meals including grinding her own wheat and exercising regularly. She hopes to never feel the need to retire from healing. Dr. Bernice was President of SORSI, an international chiropractic and research organization, for two years, and was voted the SORSI international chiropractor of the year in 2005. She has her diplomate in Craniopathy, approximately one of 50 worldwide. She writes a health column called Common Sense Health Care for www.inPolk.com. She has served as president of her neighborhood association and has been honored as a Women of Distinction in 2008 by the National Association of Women Business Owners, NAWBO. She also has a small business on the side called God Inspired Products www.GodInspiredProducts.com.

Davell Issitt-Hardgrave, C.A.

Davell was born in souther California and lived there most of her childhood. After traveling and living in several other states she eventually settled in Florida. Davell is the youngest of three girls, and yes, they were all given unusual names. Their mother wanted each girl to become an independent person, seperate from the rest of the crowd.

People describe Davell as soft-spoken with  a tendency to be reserved towards others. She is also fun loving, independent, hard working and dedicated to her family and profession. Davell is married to her long time friend, Bill. she has two beautiful daughters, Donella, the "Artist", and Zoey, who is referred to as "Little Miss Fix It".

Davell has worked in the medical and alternative medical fields, including chiropractic, for over ten years. She has held varied positions in her professional life and is a care taker in her personal life.

Davell's life goals and passions have been to educate and help people awaken their inner senses for self healing. Davell brought her wealth of experience to us. Working as a member of the Angelic team has helped her grow and focus her previous training on wellness health care.

Terry Parman, C.A. 

 Terry was born and raised in Indianapolis. Her family was a typical Midwestern one.  They vacationed in Florida for two weeks every summer.  While Terry loved vacationing in Florida, she always said she would not want to live there.

Then Terry met John, and all of that changed. Having also grown up vacationing in Florida, John's dream was to live there.  He has already passed the Florida Bar Exam and was ready to begin looking for a job.  Terry would have followed him anywhere!  Fortunately, John picked a warm place, because they both hate the col weather.

Terry and John have a son and daughter from Terry's 1st marriage. Scott lives in Brooklyn. Stephanie lives in Winter Haven with her husband Brian and their two beautiful sons, Hunter and Ethan.

When Terry is not working, she enjoys traveling, playing bridge, and spending time with family and friends.

Having always worked previously in accounting, working at Angelic Wellness has been quite a change for Terry. She has found that she really likes working with people. Terry feels truly blessed that s he works in a place that encourages you to laugh  out loud!

Kathy Marquart,C.A.                                                                                Front Office Manager, Marketing Coordinator            

Kathy was raised, and lived in the countryside of New York. She has worked as a manager for restaurants, grocery stores, and for a cafe'. She has also worked as a physical therapy aide in a retirement community. She enjoys working with all people, and is willing to help in any way. She loves the healthy life style, and is always trying new recipes for all to enjoy.

Kathy met her love of her life Steven, he is her rock and true soul mate for life and they have been married for 19 years. They have 5 grown children, whom they adore, and their lovely dogs,Goldie and Jade. We all enjoy the simple things in life, and try and enjoy each day.

Kathy loves long walks, hiking, meditation, yoga, tennis, bird watching, gardening, reading, and is working on writing a book about her life journey. 

I am loving my new job, Bernice is wonderful, I can not say enough about her. She is truly an angel. I am very thankful that she is in my life. Also I am thankful for Greg, he is teaching me great things, Davell,  I can't say enough, we have much in common ,we exercise together and have long talks. And a big Thank-you to Terry she is always telling me what a great job I am doing, and not to be too hard on myself when I make a BooBoo.WOW what a great support team I have!!!

Greg Herron

Greg and Dr. Bernice are a team at home and the office.  They have been married since 1996.  In 2007, Greg retired after 28 years with NCR (National Cash Register) where he was a service engineer.  His computer skills come in very handy at Angelic Wellness since he has become our IT guy and submits all our insurance claims. 

 Greg is the son of a registered nurse that was very interested in holistic healing; Greg is known to regularly complain that he was born a lab rat since both his mom and wife test all kinds of new cures on him.  Don’t let him fool you, he loves it and enjoys the natural way of living.  After living 28 years on little sleep and fast food working long hours for NCR, eating right, exercising and sleeping normal hours has been life altering for him. 

 Greg has taken up racquetball again.  He has his second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.  So he walks softly and carries a big racquet!  He is lovingly called Grey by the rest of the office and is known for his playfulness with everyone.  Greg is a wonderful dancer and has recently been taking his “girls”, Sugar and Honey to agility training.  He has also become an avid kayaker.
